Welcome to LWVCC. Our work focuses on the education of the public about local, state, and national government. To that end, we have a vibrant Voter Service Committee that organizes forums for candidates; an active Town Government Committee that monitors Town actions and sponsors First Friday programs; a Housing Issues Committee that brings experts to our tables to inform and guide our actions; a DEI Committee that is sponsoring a wonderful series of discussions for Concord and Carlisle; an Advocacy team that encourages League member participation in key issues; a Civics Education committee and an Environment committee where League and community members meet to address local issues; and a Book Group that reads broadly on issues at every level of government. We are supported by our communities, by our state organization, the League of Women Voters of Massachusetts, and by our national organization, the League of Women Voters U.S. We welcome your involvement and appreciate your support.
